Unfortunately, wrestling in India doesn't have the same appeal for the youth that cricket and football do. For this reason, I want to also begin a series of wrestling academies across the country.

I am into professional wrestling. Only Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling can qualify in Olympics. I chose professional wrestling for fame and limelight and good money.

I wanted to win an Olympic medal for my country but because of circumstances, I had to become a professional wrestler. I will have fulfilled my dream if I can support even one kid who wins a medal for the country.

I loved playing football, but I hated the games because it's a lot of pressure. I just loved putting on the pads and hitting my friends.

Since retiring I have spent a lot of time with my family, on my boat, and playing football.

A lot of people believe that I retired from the game of football because of concussions - that is not accurate. I really retired primarily because of a degenerative back condition that I had.
