It's become more readily apparent that we need to be growing our own food and growing more things organically.

After getting recognized in public from my picture on our pretzel bag, I can understand not wanting to be in the public eye. It has given me a public persona I had always avoided as a child. I do it because it's for a good cause.

Basically, what we've done is, every year we take half the money and allow people who've helped us in the industry to give it away. One year, the ladies who put the pretzel bags in the boxes got to give it away.

My brother and I have converted to Christianity, and my other brother and sister are still Sikh. So for me, it's not something that I ever want to be judgmental on. I know my parents are two people of a very strong faith. I respect all that they've done in raising their four kids and in the opportunities that they've given us.

I knew 'Promises,' and I knew 'Never Fall In Love Again,' only from the radio, from being a kid; and of course, that 'House is Not a Home' and 'Say A Little Prayer.'

The education of my brother and myself was of paramount importance to my parents, and in addition to their strong encouragement, they were prepared to make any sacrifice to further our intellectual development.

Whatever God gave you, you have to work that to your best ability - especially out here in Hollywood, the land of beautiful people.
