Angus has had a few swings at me, maybe two or three times in our whole career. But then it's done, and it's not gonna drag on, because it's not worth it. We have to stick together. And we know that.

People paid money for tickets to see us and be entertained by us, and we've never forgotten that. Anything after that was a bonus.

I was more of a melodic player. Angus was more into the rock world. Straightaway, I said this is how we should do it. It was never a brotherly squabble but the opposite, because we just wanted to do good as a band.

I've never felt like a pop star - this is a nine-to-five sort of gig. It comes from working in the factories, that world. You don't forget it.

No one in my family had a retail or marketing background. They were professionals. They didn't understand just what I was doing by going into retailing. After I started, though, it got into my blood. I knew this was what I wanted.

Canada has been phenomenal to myself, my brother, my sister, their kids, my parents. They came there. They worked very hard. They came with a great education, very good heads on their shoulders with the simple thought of going there with almost nothing and just saying, 'We're doing this to give our kids the best opportunity possible.'

I devote my whole life to my family, and that's the least I could do, because there's only one me and 14 of them. I have to give all my energy and all of me to my kids.

My parents always made education and school the number one priority. They believed that an education is the best gift you can give to your child.
