By learning about my body and making small, subtle changes, I find out what I enjoy and what is effective. I'm always finessing: adjusting my diet and my workouts. You have to figure out which exercises are fun and interesting and stimulate your brain - or else you'll never keep at them.

Aging on camera is just very hard. I love my age. I feel good about myself but high definition television is not kind. You don't even look like yourself in high-def. It just makes every little line on your face more exaggerated so it ends up aging you. It's like you're watching yourself seven years older.

My opinion's no more important than anyone else's. It's just that I have the ability to have access to more ears when I speak because of my job.

I always think, medically... you really have to be your advocate. You have to be able to back up everything that you're feeling with some information and protect yourself through the world of hospitals and doctors' offices, so the more information the better.

Weight-bearing exercise builds bone density, builds your muscular strength so that you can hold your body up where those bones have a tendency to get weak.

In fact, it is a farce to call any being virtuous whose virtues do not result from the exercise of its own reason.

People find it hard to fit exercise into their working-day life. Nine to five jobs take up most of your day, so it's always difficult. But a little can go a long way. It can literally be 10 or 15 minutes of exercise that can be of real benefit.

My most visible goal is to do something in nutrition to children in India, and pregnant mothers. Because that would change the mental and physical health of our population in years to come.
