My very first job was a cashier at Burger King in Tucson, Arizona. And I occasionally worked the drive-thru. I'd go wherever I was needed! My second job was at Dairy Queen. I stayed in the fast food royalty.

My mother is Italian and my dad's Irish. In my family, we're expressive. Nobody holds back.

I've worked in the theater, television, and films. A five-hour TV series is certainly more time than a character I'd be playing in a film.

It's hard to say when my interest in writing began, or how. My mother read to my sister and me every night, and we always loved playing make-believe games. I had a well-primed imagination. I didn't start thinking about writing as a serious pursuit, a career I could have, until after college.

Balancing my film career and my music will be something I'm just going to have to deal with, as it happens. I think I can balance it out; the choices will probably be pretty clear. If there's a movie I just have to do, I will work the music around it.

Film is a very young art that is still evolving. Soon, we shall reach a balance between content and technology.
