I overcame a lot of things, growing up, as everyone does.

I think a lot of social media creators have always been, like, content and haven't pushed the limits because no one else had pushed the limits before. I say to myself, 'How can I create my own TV show online every day and actually make it a real production and put effort into it?'

I started on Vine because it was such an engaging platform that was the most popular at the time. It came natural to me, and I understood the type of content I needed to make on it so that people could enjoy it. I knew it was a great start, but I had to spread my wings and create something that would last forever - a career.

I got into a competition with my brother over who could make better Vine videos.

I think that in figure skating, and in sports in general, that when you're young, it's considered a huge advantage because you're fearless, and you also don't have bad past experiences. But with age comes experience, and I have found that my experience is a huge advantage to me as a competitor.

I was so fully involved in football and building a career that I didn't spend nearly enough time with my son when he was growing up.

How many black people are there in the higher echelons of any industry? We can talk about journalism, we can talk about politics. So why should football be any different?

As a company, the best that we can do is not only penalize but rehabilitate. Speaking for myself, I've always been strong. I don't need that club to put in my bag. This is a choice of the athlete, not the sanctioning body. We do substance abuse testing, impact testing, cardiac testing, so we try to sniff out these problems before they even start.
