It's the individual effort of everybody working together towards a collective goal that causes real, effective change in America and in the world.

I think it's important to realize that law enforcement does do a very good job oftentimes of trying to ensure the safety and security of their people. But oftentimes, where they fail is communities of color and in lower socioeconomic status communities where they discriminate against these people.

In the same way we all have a right to bear arms, we all have a right to live.

I don't think NRA members are bad people at all. I think they're responsible gun owners that want to become politically active and make their voices heard in this democracy.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there isn't and to die to find out that there is.

I think we're pretty spiritual people, the band in general. We're not a bunch of hippies or anything like that, but we like to work together and work with people. We believe that positive energy is pretty necessary in life, although it's not always easy to maintain.

This is a gift that God has given me. I'm not smart enough to write for everybody, but it's the love in these books that comes from Him and goes out to my reading audience. I'm forever grateful for that. It's a privilege.

It's very hard to argue with someone who thinks he is God because he makes a lot of money.
