It's the individual effort of everybody working together towards a collective goal that causes real, effective change in America and in the world.

I think it's important to realize that law enforcement does do a very good job oftentimes of trying to ensure the safety and security of their people. But oftentimes, where they fail is communities of color and in lower socioeconomic status communities where they discriminate against these people.

In the same way we all have a right to bear arms, we all have a right to live.

I don't think NRA members are bad people at all. I think they're responsible gun owners that want to become politically active and make their voices heard in this democracy.

Without the persistence of voters in America getting up to every election, democracy will not flourish.

I support the Second Amendment. But for God's sake - how can we knowingly pass bills and laws that are in direct opposition to saving kids' lives?

I'm not a crisis actor.

Honestly, it's alright that people are buying more guns. I just care that they are being safe individuals.

We are millennials, and we love complaining more than any other generation.

It's a midterm year, and it's time to take action. I don't care if you're a Democrat. I don't care if you're a Republican. Stand up for what you believe in.

When politicians send their thoughts and prayers with no action, we say, 'No more.'

When you have all these new police officers and resource officers coming into schools, what I'm worried is going to happen is we're going to increase the school-to-prison pipeline, which disproportionately affects students of color and lower social status.
