I think most young professionals would be surprised to learn how accommodating employers can be to inquisitive potential candidates.

I believe in MWA - management by walking around - so I spend as much time as possible traveling and visiting franchise partners. You only learn by walking around and meeting people.

I joined 3G when I was 24, but I didn't really have much of a management role there. I became C.F.O. when we acquired Burger King, so that was my first time managing people. I had just turned 30.

I like people who genuinely are looking for a project and not a job.

Miles Davis was a master. In every phase of his career, he understood that this music was a tribute to the African muse.

I think that's why I was able to go so far in my life and career - because my mom always supported me, even when I had the craziest ideas ever.

I have to be honest: in my career, I've really had to fight to come in the middle again. A lot of managers told me, 'You are way more comfortable as a winger than as a midfielder,' but I always kept my trust and confidence in what I knew about my qualities.

I love acting. Acting is a true love of mine, acting and math. Although they are both creative, they use very different sides of your brain. And I love both. Acting is my first love, and that's my main career, it really is.
