Ric Flair is a wonderful person, and he was such a great in-ring performer. He had a great deal to do with the direction of the business. There are great characters that have come into this business, but Flair can't be duplicated.

My pop was in the business and he loved it very much. He actually went ahead and passed away while wrestling.

This goes to all the individuals out there, be in control of your business don't let your business take control of you.

Vince and WWE, they're not fresh. Yes, Vince does big business. They have the best talent in the world, but they have no fresh ideas. They should be selling out every arena.

I simply could not have done as well in either football or wrestling if I had not taken Energol.

If I had a son, I would steer him away from wrestling. It was fun for me, but for most it's not healthy in the long run.

I still recall the first time I laid eyes on Ric. Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch were wrestling, at the time, in Minnesota, and they took a liking to this kid who'd been hanging around the matches. That kid was Ric Flair, and they brought him to my ranch in Amarillo, Texas.

I've loved wrestling from the first moment I stepped between the ropes. Don't know where I'd be without it.

There is no age limit to wrestling.

I like to have Ric Flair in the ring one more time in the MMA or the UFC. I'd like to beat the hell out of him.

The truth of the matter is that Dusty Rhodes helped put more money in my pocket than anybody I've ever wrestled. In his time he was the most charismatic and talented performer in the business, and I know he doesn't look like it, but he was a pretty good athlete too.

I came up with all kinds of stuff. That was part of being great and having creativity. I'm not just bragging about myself. I'm just saying.
