Back when I was growing up, if I loved a song, I would record it off of the radio so I could hear them as many times as I wanted.

Growing up, I always considered the Grand Ole Opry to be hallowed ground.

I grew up playing football and baseball and moved on to play college baseball, and, you know, as a kid, my dream was to play professional baseball.

Fix' was a song that definitely put me on the map and changed everything for in me my career. I'm really thankful for it.

Yeah, you got the family dog and the white picket fence, and you just think that's all there is. Some of us had to grow up in poverty-stricken urban neighborhoods, and we just had to adapt to our environment. I know that it's wrong. But people act like it's some crazy thing they never heard of. They don't know.

As a kid I had gone to New York a handful of times with my family. I definitely think it planted a seed in me.

Surely wisdom will come as we listen to learn from children, parents, partners, neighbors, Church leaders, and the Lord.

But with two boys and a new puppy, we don't get out much. We're usually home doing stuff together as a family, like watching 'Modern Family.'
