When I was growing up my parents never thought I would be an actor.

I had done some community theater plays and I just had so much fun doing it. I was a really shy kid growing up and it gave me a platform to be able to express myself in a way that I didn't feel comfortable doing yet in my own skin.

Of course there are moments for everyone, and certainly for me, where you do feel misunderstood. You feel like you can't really connect. You do feel like you're alone in something.

My family and my closest friends are my favorite things about being home.

Any natural, normal human being, when faced with any kind of loss, will go from shock all the way through acceptance.

The hardest thing is spending twelve hours a day accommodating the rest of the world, then going home at night and criticizing it. I would be curious about what I'd write if I didn't have to worry about offending.
