As a kid, I would never have imagined I would live in England for four years. I am very happy and contented that my daughter is growing up in a country as developed as this one.

It's hard to say you're struggling if you're a professional footballer. Other people have far greater problems.

I'm not exactly an example of how to learn English; I just can't get it into my head. I'm learning hardly anything, truth be told.

I don't like to get involved in conflict.

First, I take a lot of time to just explain my vision of what the game should be to the team. Then I make all subsequent decisions based on how I want to feel when I buy the game, and what impressions I want to have of it. I then go about implementing the little points that will lead up to that finished product.

Football always changes. There are always new players coming in at your club or young players coming through with your club or England. You have to be ready, given 100%, improve, and get better.

Fortunately, the way I play tennis, I don't have to spend too much time analyzing or worrying about my opponents. I typically try to focus on my own game, and I know if I do that and execute, I can beat anyone.

Doing something for others helped to not put that focus too much on football and to put things into perspective of how fortunate we are.
