Life wasn't easy growing up; it was frustrating. If I had been a better reader, then that would have come easily, sports would have come easily, everything would have come easily, and I never would have realized that the way you get ahead in life is hard work.

I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Back then they didn't even know what dyslexia was.

Some people look gender non-conforming because they want to look that way - they don't want to conform to society's expectations.

I spent twelve years training for a career that was over in a week. Joe Namath spent one week training for a career that lasted twelve years.

You don't lock into a ten-year family budget. You take it a year at a time - maybe even six months at a time. And then if the income really comes in the way you hope it does, then you can make some of those expenditures that you've been waiting to make. We think that same principle should apply to the national family we call America.

Nudity has never been a big deal to me. I sort of grew up with a lot of it in my family.

And of course there's so much music in and around our family. I had a piano during Christmas because it's obviously useful through the season. There are so many people, songwriters, who are around.

What I am defending is the real rights of women. A woman should have the right to be in the home as a wife and mother.
