Growing up, we were always the feisty Latin girls.

I think sometimes wrestling fans will feel different, but the thing is, 'Total Divas' introduced women's wrestling to the world.

The girls are working so hard to put female wrestling on the map and to make it as big as the men. To see it actually happening... I'm so grateful.

For myself, I went into an industry I wasn't educated on, and I thought, 'Hey, yeah, let's do this. Awesome.' And I've really had to educate myself in the fashion world: undergarments, fabrics, and learning their language, but it's been really great.

I really didn't realise until I got back the work that goes into a performance. You're like an athlete - if you haven't been practising things tighten up. I had to do a lot of practice work, but I got through it. Even when I was 21 I would have a 40-minute nap on the day of a show, and I will still do that.

I think our existence in professional sports is almost a protest in and of itself in sometimes the very sexist society that we live in. For us, it's just kind of right in line with what we always do.

I went to football training when I was five because I think my father thought he had two boys.

My goals have gone from being an all-star to just being able to play basketball. I always took for granted that I could play. Now I know what a gift it is.
