I try to hit all the places Guy Fieri visits in every city I go to. It's, like, something a 60-year-old would do.

I've been pitching a show of five female stand-up comedians through the generations, from Phyllis Diller to Amy Schumer, so when I got an e-mail asking me if I would participate in the Women in Comedy Festival, I was thrilled.

Talent grips us. We are overtaken by the beauty of Michelangelo's sculpture, riveted by Mariah Carey's angelic voice, doubled over in laughter by the comedy of Robin Williams, and captivated by the on screen performances of Denzel Washington.

It's good to be able to laugh at yourself and the problems you face in life. Sense of humor can save you.
