Whenever I fill out the job description I put 'songwriter', never 'singer' or 'artist.' Singers come and go.

In sixth grade, my basketball team made it to the league championships. In double overtime, with three seconds left, I rebounded the ball and passed it - to the wrong team! They scored at the buzzer and we lost the game. To this day, I still have nightmares!

Personally, I enjoyed school as much as the next kid. I was into art and every sport going from football to table tennis, so I kept busy. I never bunked a day off and left with 9 GCSEs, if I remember correctly.

I went into umpiring at age 16. I got into officiating because of the fact that I could not stand the referees that worked our basketball games.
