Growing up, I never saw Asian-Americans on TV at all.

Coming from The Disney Channel, anything I do is going to offend somehow, somewhere, somehow.

My dad loves to cook. I'm half Thai, and growing up, that's all we ate in my house. My dad was very big on the idea that dinnertime and cooking time was also family time.

Your body is like a machine, and if you don't keep it in shape, it holds you back. You don't want anything holding you back, especially yourself.

I paint; I draw and paint - I've been doing that since I was in third grade, drawing realistically and then changing to abstract art. That was my first creative thing before guitar or comedy.

My comedy comes from the actual music itself - they're observational musical gags. I could take the music away and it would just be some words.

First off, I don't do self-deprecation comedy based on being fat. I would always talk about it honestly. Secondly, I don't care how much I weigh.

I love it if comedy reflects real life because to me it's more reassuring that we'll get through.
