I've never had a series that's gone past 12 episodes.

I started out as a musician. Although I always wanted to have a dual career, I fell into the TV and movie business more strongly and more quickly.

I started my career, actually, maybe the first 10, 11 years, playing the bad boyfriend with the gun. And I got ill with that and moved on, for some reason, to playing cops all the time.

The end of times has always been a fascination. But post 9/11, pretty much everybody will admit to having it on their minds more frequently than when they were a kid.

Bollywood is a business more than an art industry. One has to play the game others play to carve your own path.

When it's all said and done, I want to look back on my career and say I did numerous things.

When I was a little girl, I dreamt of winning grand slams and being No. 1 in the world. That dream stays the same as long as you're doing the career that you're on. I think it would be silly for that to change.

I have a growing resume, but it's because I'm very selective. There are a lot of actors in my position that are like me: they have an opportunity to make a lot of money early in their career, and they do that, and after that, there's nothing to sustain that. There's no art or interest in your craft from the people that want to see you.
