I am growing with my audience. When I made my debut, I was 24, and they have grown up with me. They are with me with each choice of mine.

When I was growing up, I heard horror stories about producers losing their houses overnight. No matter who the family is, hearing of them getting evicted is very sad.

I realise that women don't want to get treated differently but just equally. I don't know what feminism is all about, but I understand that women should be treated equally, and I endorse that thought.

I wanted to be performer; like, I used to dance at weddings. I felt acting was my calling, and that is something I wanted to do.

Music. It's all creativity right here, right now.

I worry that I am not really a person anymore: I'm more of just a writing machine. I wonder what that has done to either my life and or my art.

I grew up in the '80s where there's a lot of these kind of post-apocalyptic, post-comet, post-whatever it was, so that always captured my imagination a lot as a little kid, that idea of getting access to secret places and being able to roam around where you're not supposed to.

I feel it's my job as the artist who is making the music to pair it with visuals that I see in my head while writing the music in the first place.
