Golf is an extremely expensive sport, and growing up, I didn't come from a lot, but my parents sacrificed a lot for me to compete, and my goals were their goals.

One of the things I learned growing up, a rule that I go by, is just never give up. That's one thing that I had to keep telling myself.

Essentially, my parents directed me in the right path. They were all for me turning professional and starting that journey as a family with my golf career.

I do my best on the golf course. I am learning about the business side of it. But I have a lot of great partners that help me with all those things.

Money can make people look at you in strange ways. You get phone calls from people you haven't spoken with in a long time, and they'll leave a message saying, 'Do me a favor, call me back. I have something I want to ask you.' I'm not going to answer those calls, because there's always something behind it, like a loan.

I saw how much money people spent in the fashion industry, and I was like, 'Oh, man, if someone can spend this much on clothes, they certainly can spend five dollars a month on causes.'

I think people's perception of a rich girl is literal, but metaphorically I embrace it as being rich in love, spirit, joy and religion. So it's not about money.

I don't just preach; I put my money where my mouth is!
