Growing up, I was always in normal public school which is very important in my eyes.

Whenever I wasn't working, I had my butt back in normal school.

There's something so great about being with your nephew and, when you're tired, just handing him off back to your sister.

That's why I love doing television because it's something that fans and viewers can sit down each week and get to know your character and get to know the show and get to know what's going on and fall in love with you all over again, like they did in previous shows.

I moved to Humble under really unfortunate circumstances obviously, Hurricane Katrina, so our family was displaced here for four months. Humble was a home for us.

For your friends and family, you are always a champion, but for the media and sponsors, not until you show a spark. Making a champ is more important than celebrating one. I want to be there for youngsters and help them do their best.

Even if somebody in your family is successful, it doesn't change anything. On the contrary, I suppose people expect more of you in certain ways.
