I'm building my own brand outside of the Peas. It's not Black Eyed Peas, it's Zumbao. Zumbao is different from the Peas because it's all on me and I can't feed off of anybody other than me.

Just being in the industry that I'm in, you get people building up your ego - 'Oh, you guys are the best, you guys are gods.' So I started believing the hype - 'Yes, I am a god!'

In America, we have always taken it as an article of faith that we 'battle' cancer; we attack it with knives, we poison it with chemotherapy or we blast it with radiation. If we are fortunate, we 'beat' the cancer. If not, we are posthumously praised for having 'succumbed after a long battle.'

For players you don't hear about in the news, they enjoy the hell out of the offseason. They can travel and see things they never thought they'd see, or go back home to relax and see their kids and family that they haven't had a chance to hang out with in a few months.

Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?... It is necessary to accompany them with mercy.
