I always wanted to be Robin Hood or John the Baptist when I was growing up.

It's unresolved conflict in my life that I have a lovely family and a risky job.

To me, adventure has always been to me the connections and bounds you create with people when you're there. And you can have that anywhere.

Adventure should be 80 percent 'I think this is manageable,' but it's good to have that last 20 percent where you're right outside your comfort zone. Still safe, but outside your comfort zone.

I don't listen to music when I run; I like the quiet. It gives me time to think about my family, our businesses, the farm - there's not much I don't think about, to be honest.

When I do something, I consult my family, so that when you get me, you get my whole family.

After 17' is a song I wrote when my first daughter went to college, so that's kind of where I'm at in that part of my life. If you listen to that song and knew anything about me, you'd say, 'Oh yeah, he wrote that about his daughter,' but I try not to write them that they are so specific that they wouldn't apply to anybody that has a child.

I love 'Latina'! You guys have always been so supportive of me and my career. Now I have my family, and it's just awesome.
