That's the one thing I think I have figured out pretty decently well is I'm a performer. I've always been an entertainer; y'know, growing up, that's all I've ever done.

Growing up, I wanted straight hair so bad, like Justin Bieber.

I remember feeling the energy of people. That stuck with me. Understanding that I could stand behind a mic and captivate people. I was always obsessed with that.

It's truthful - every single song is an extension of me and a truthful piece of inspiration from my past or something I'm currently going through.

We envision a more Germany-style economy, where 20 percent of our workforce is in manufacturing. And we're not talking about banging tin in the back room. We're talking about high technology across the board, whether it's computer chips or cars or anything in between.

While technology empowers us to remain connected all the time, it's up to us as people to decide when is it not appropriate to be connected... to opt out when you need to.

Thanks to the Internet in general and social media in particular, the Chinese people now have a mechanism to hold authorities accountable for wrongdoing - at least sometimes - without any actual political or legal reforms having taken place. Major political power struggles and scandals are no longer kept within elite circles.

There are so many entertainment options - Netflix, Amazon, Hulu - and especially for younger people, who are Internet-savvy and video game fans.
