If you told teenage me that I would end up supporting Tegan and Sara for a month in North America, my head would have probably exploded.

A lot of people start by learning other people's songs, but the idea of singing someone else's music didn't excite me. I just wanted to write my own. It was really bad to begin with. It's improved slightly since.

When I wasn't working, I was learning how to use production software on YouTube and making music.

I didn't really want anyone to know that I wanted to write music or make songs because, in a way, I didn't necessarily know if I wanted to do it for a profession. I wanted to do it to express myself.

Follow your dreams, believe in yourself and don't give up.

Engaging in social business is beneficial to a company because it leverages on business competencies to address social issues, involves one-time investment with sustainable results, and produces other positive effects such as employee motivation and improved organizational culture.

So I just had to step up how I was doing it and the moment that I stepped up and the moment I focused all my energy on that is when things started to happen. So there's a direct relationship between my inspiration and my output.

What I keep going back to, and what keeps me going, is trying to do good in whatever little spot of the world we can influence, no matter how small.
