In Brazil, I didn't have it easy growing up.

I used the bus when I was growing up in Brazil. I don't want to diminish anyone who travels on the bus, but I haven't done that for a long time.

I came to Manchester City because I see them growing and getting bigger. Can they be as big as Real Madrid? Yes, I hope so.

Unfortunately, my departure from Madrid was not pleasant, but those things are in the past, and I have learned a lot and matured.

How are the faculties of man to be best developed and his happiness secured? The state of a king is not favorable to this, nor the state of the noble and rich men of the earth. All this is artificial life, the inventions of vanity and grasping ambition, by which we have spoiled the man of nature and of pure, simple, and undistorted impulses.

The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves.

A lot happens at 50, the best thing being that you just don't care anymore. At 40, you still care. At 30, you care way too much - and your twenties are quite frankly a nightmare. Bring on 60, I say: just imagine the joy of having grandchildren.
