Women have been interesting forever.

It's hard to find female leads that are flawed and interesting and dynamic.

People are very nice to me, and they've been nice as my career has gotten better and I've gotten more jobs. But the reality is that if I decided tomorrow that I didn't want to act anymore, it's not like people are going to be like, 'Please, come back!'

In elementary and high school, I never considered acting as a profession.

I've never been that guy who says, 'Ooh, I have to play King Lear'. First off, that'd be a disaster anyway. I tend to read something and see who's involved, and then know I want to be part of it. But I don't think I'm through with comedy. I still love to make people laugh.

In my long life I have found peace, joy, and happiness beyond my fondest hopes and dreams. One of the supreme benedictions of my life has been my marriage to an elect daughter of God. I love her with all my heart and soul.

I can cry at the drop of the pin. But comedy is hard for me; it's the timing.

I never wanted to do observational humor because I never wanted to tell people what they were seeing.
