My motivation is tomorrow, just one day at a time, right?

My goal is to improve my game, stay healthy and be competitive. If I have that, I know I can be able to win tournaments, which in the end is what it counts.

I learned during all my career to enjoy suffering.

Last four months were great for me, was probably one of the best four months of my career, playing unbelievable in the clay court season.

For me, growing up, I'd always been a part of team sports, except for when I was boxing.

I'm from a council estate myself, and the biggest release we had as kids was football. That's where all the great players learn their trade - as kids having a kickabout.

I played basketball, baseball, and football. I never had much downtime. But I think playing multiple sports helped tremendously in my baseball career. I have the agility of all three combined into one.

Boxing is a sport. We allow each other to hit each other, but I'm not treating my opponent like my enemy. We're doing a job to entertain people.
