For the amount of talent I had - and I couldn't dance, act, or tell a joke - I enjoyed a tremendous career.

We also own a little boat and I'm like a kid with it. I take off early in the morning, fishing rod in tow, and just drift about the ocean all day.

It is time to celebrate the New Black Americans - those who have sealed the Deal, who aren't beholden to liberal indulgence any more than they are to the disdain of the hard Right. It is time to praise blacks who are merely undeniable in their individuality and exemplary in their levels of achievement.

For very long, I wasn't able to find a place for myself in movies. After my initial success, I didn't know how to capitalise on it.
