There's something cool, even on a philosophical level, about understanding the bigger picture and exploring faith, if you will, in a very real way. The more you delve into it and give into it, you just have to have faith. The more you invest in faith, wherever it takes you, some of those jagged edges become less sharp.

The pretty girls get all the good stuff. Oh, God. So not true. I unlearned this after years of coaching beautiful clients. Yes, these lovelies get preferential treatment in most life scenarios, but there's a catch: While everyone's looking at them, virtually no one sees them.

We have to believe in the mercy and grace of God to trigger conversion rather than the other way around: that you're only going to get the mercy if you have a conversion. The economy of salvation doesn't work that way.
