I still consider myself working class. I know my circumstances have changed dramatically since I was growing up back in Birkenhead.

I was Popeye mad when I was a kid, and I'd eat spinach until the cows came home.

I like working with kids; they keep you going.

All taxpayers feel a tremendous sense of frustration as they see many tens of billions of dollars of bonuses paid to the same mega banks that were on the brink of bankruptcy and were only saved by massive government rescue money and support. We are not satisfied by the fact that many of them have paid the money back, nor should we be.

When I graduated, I promptly took a job in finance, making both my pre-med and poli-sci years essentially useless - or so I thought.

I won a lot of money in UFC. I earned that money. The money wasn't given to me as a present. I earned every dollar of it.

For me, to be in a place where I'm on the 'favourite' list of top directors I like, that's being number one. There is no other definition to me. It's not money; it's not how many songs you're seen in or how many clothes you're changing in the film.
