I still consider myself working class. I know my circumstances have changed dramatically since I was growing up back in Birkenhead.

I was Popeye mad when I was a kid, and I'd eat spinach until the cows came home.

I like working with kids; they keep you going.

I don't go for glamour roles.

I don't think humor is something to be afraid of.

I really, really enjoy comedy. I think that's one of my strong suits. It's my zone. And people don't expect it from me, which is a whammy.

Comedy is a very rough beat. It's no holds barred, as it should be.

Editing and post-production is so important with comedy.
