I have a good idea of how lucky we are to be growing up in Canada.

I feel proud to be a skater: it's taught me how to be emotional, more connected with myself, more mature, more understanding of my thoughts and the conversations I've had with myself.

I relate really well to individuals who have a career and explore other adventures outside of skating. That, to me, is fascinating.

I hope I can compete in one or two Olympics in my career. Of course I would like to win a medal, but just being there would be awesome.

A great sense of morality was instilled in me through my upbringing in the Catholic faith - particularly because my father is a moral theologian. And morality is something I believe exists separate from faith, as an intrinsic human quality that one should aspire to understand and participate in.

I've only paid lip service to a spiritual life.

Oh God, I am so pro-shorts. I love shorts.

If you're going to vote for somebody because you think they have a great faith in God, you'd better be sure that God has faith in them.
