You will never cease to be the most amazed person on earth at what God has done for you on the inside.

The dearest friend on earth is a mere shadow compared to Jesus Christ.

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.

We look upon the enemy of our souls as a conquered foe, so he is, but only to God, not to us.

Good and productive labor is valuable, and it doesn't mean you have to have a fancy job description. You don't have to become rich. You can be ordinary. Happiness lies there. Do good work, create good work for others.

And the goal really is to make the audience laugh, to bring them some joy.

If all our happiness is bound up entirely in our personal circumstances it is difficult not to demand of life more than it has to give.

There is nothing I fear more than waking up without a program that will help me bring a little happiness to those with no resources, those who are poor, illiterate, and ridden with terminal disease.
