I had plenty of vices growing up.

I'm still at the beginning of my career. It's all a little new, and I'm still learning as I go.

The philosophy of Buddhism is connected to everything. So it probably does have some connection with acting, yes.

The truth is - I found myself doing these huge action-adventure movies, and um, and which are cool man. And I really love doing them. And thankfully I haven't had too much dialogue, because if I had I would have really made a mess of it. You know what I mean?

When I came into the music, I was forced to be a CEO. I was forced to be an entrepreneur; I was forced to... because I was looking for a deal. I didn't have this grand scheme of starting a record company and then morphing into a clothing empire.

If not managed properly, owning a company and running a business with multiple locations can make you feel constantly overwhelmed.

As an actor, I just go off the director. I never ask how big the part is. I don't look at it from the perspective of, 'Is this going to be good for my career?' I just look for directors, and I think part of that is I knew I always wanted to be a director.

I think at any point in your career as a creative, whether you're an actor, writer whatever it's a real turning point when someone who's not you turns around and validates your work it gives you a lot of confidence.
