Being sporty at heart, I've wanted to learn football since I was a child. But I never got the chance because, growing up, my family didn't have the finances for extra-curricular activities.

Bigg Boss' was the first time I was exposed to a situation where I had to only speak in Hindi. Prior to that, I was learning but never practising.

Everytime I put a dance video out on social media, my fans love it, and the reaction I get online is mind blowing.

Dilbar' is very close to me. It was a turning point in my career.

As a child, I had no idea that I would end up in the film industry. My ambitions changed from wanting to join the army like my grandfather to taking up merchant navy as a career to running for India, and finally, investment banking while I was a student of economics honour. But during my college days, I began to get offers for modelling.

I am with a very successful man, and the crazy thing is people think that it makes my career easier.

In my career as a writer, I preferred to avoid current events: I wrote young adult novels and book reviews and lifestyle journalism about health and parenting and other such evergreens.

My career, I look at it in a Darwinian framework. I'm going to do exactly what I want, and I'm going to survive, or I'm not. I'm not going to pander. I'm not going to change things. I'm not going to do focus groups. I'll live and die by the sword. I don't care. Because I couldn't live with myself.
