Every piece of work has been a learning experience.

Something I have learnt from my past trips is, however tired you are, make sure you make the most of the moment and the place you are in. The regret of missing out on things kicks in later on.

With 'Gold,' it was a very simple girl, and in 'Kabir Singh,' it's more of a glam role. That's my aim: I want to experiment as much as I can. These two are very small areas of experimentation.

I live in L.A. so I worry my kids aren't that connected to Britain, I suppose I don't want them to become American kids. We try to get back three or four times a year. When they go to school they speak with a British-American accent but when they come home to us they go back to their British accent.
