I had a house burn down once, and everything in life burned, except my family, and it was so liberating. I didn't have a bad moment about it. It sort of reinvigorated my interest in a lot of things.

I grew up with an incredibly loving and supportive family that gave me the impression there were a lot of options for me out there.

I was a lonely child. My brother Tony and I were never very close, neither as children nor as adults, but I was tightly bound to him. We were forced to be together because we were really quite alone. We were in the middle of the Irish countryside, in County Galway, in the West of Ireland, and we didn't see many other kids.

I couldn't be where I am today if I had children. My focus would be on my children and home. And you can do it later in life.
