Getting to know Vixen has been an amazing learning experience, and I am glad that I am close to her so that I am able to be further educated on social issues and see them through her eyes.

Past 'Drag Race' alum that I've spoken to, their biggest advice to me was, 'Expect the unexpected,' and, 'There's no way that you can prepare for this,' so I thought I was at least ahead of the curve knowing that I wasn't prepared.

I've always had an uneasy relationship with technology and how it insinuates itself into our lives: for example. I always prefer talking face-to-face with friends than texting or calling, and if I want to get updates on their lives, I don't go to Facebook but meet them in person.

When I'm traveling, I always look for a dance studio. It's a great workout and a wonderful way to meet new friends in the community.

The mind of a 19-year-old is very different from the mind of a 26-year-old. You grow. You get into better relationships. You experience more, meet more people, better people. But when you're in a dark hole at an earlier point in your life - you write about the mindset you're in at that moment.

I just wanted to work, build a relationship with my teammates, and earn their trust.
