I've had a great passion for video games for as long as I can remember. Growing up, 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time' was one of my all-time favorites. My brother and I ran up quite a bill calling the 1-900 numbers for tips on those games before the Internet provided game guides.

Any time you are put in the same category as Jane Fonda, a real legend, it feels surreal, perhaps even undeserved.

I got out of college and I went to get my master's in creative writing at San Francisco State. I was working as an actor at the Actor's Workshop, being abused as a intern.

I want to see my kids grow up in a world that I grew up in, which was it had imagination and it had hope. And all of a sudden, I see that being dissolved, and I see, as a country, as a people, we are a republic. We are a democracy.

Being somebody who's like a theater geek that I am, I can just go right back to Aeschylus and Euripides and Sophocles: they were writing about gods and goddesses versus humans, and how gods could distort, pervert, or help people get what they want.

I've certainly had a number of failures along the way, depending on my own instincts and creativity, some fairly celebrated, at least during their time.
