Becoming an entrepreneur was the furthest thing from my mind. I actually had an identity crisis when I realized I had become one.

I work hard, and managing an inventory-based business can be extremely stressful. The upside is that, as long as I get my job done, I can take time off pretty much any time I want.

A good actor is someone who knows how to take the part and make it real and make it honest and be effective in it. If it's in a funny movie and, as long as they are cast in an appropriate way, humor will come from it.

Humor is this great equalizer. It gets people's defenses down, and once they're down, you can discuss some really difficult topics.

The way that I live is in between the dual experiences of the tragedy mask and the comedy mask. I feel that I write best and think best in between those two masks.

I'm trying to make sure that there's comedy as well as sadness. It makes the sadness more memorable.
