When the planes crashed into the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001, Bush immediately identified what he thought was the true cause. It was because the Muslims were jealous of the freedom of the American people. It was because the Muslims were poor. This exposes a lack of understanding of things on his part.

If you look at the Malaysian media, you will find that, although some are supportive of the government, many are not, and they are very critical of the government.

Planning means looking ahead.

We say less things about Australians than Australians say about us, calling me a dictator, authoritarian government.

One of the unique things about covering politics in America is that I've gotten to see a lot of corners of this country that I never would've gotten to see. It turns out that there are a lot of really beautiful places in corners of America you wouldn't necessarily expect.

I'm not a big fan of a lot of government dollars going into research and development for private enterprises... and you're not going to see the House of Representatives, I'm certain, provide a lot of money for research and development for electric vehicles.

Before the cell phone and the Internet, you felt a more pure sense of liberty than we do today. Whenever you left the house, and the phone, in your kitchen attached to the wall, nobody was able to get a hold of you.

If people want to see you, they'll find you. If they don't see you on TV, they'll find you on the Internet.
