For Guardiola, the system and tactics can change but not the approach, attitude, or philosophy.

All my family worked for Puma. My mother worked there, and my father was the guy that opened and closed up in the evening. We lived in the neighbouring building - just a couple of steps, and I would be in the Puma factory. All 300 people that worked there knew me; it was my adventure playground. I knew everything, even how to make a shoe sole.

I have always loved football! Of course, you have sometimes difficult times with injuries, defeats, etc., but this is part of the sport.

Guardiola won so many trophies at Barcelona that he had a huge impact.

Football, to me, is a passion, more than a game. It is everything. But more than anything, it is love for Roma. I have always been Roma. There has never been anything else.

When I chose Mississippi State, of course I dreamed about being a big-time college football player. But I'm so grateful that actually became a reality - and it became a reality in a small town.

I like the atmosphere in the Premier League. The teams play attacking football, and for a striker, that is even more attractive.

It's quite hard at times to take my mind off football, but it's very important. I'll watch something on television, anything, whatever the missus wants to watch.
