I've been doing musicals since forever. Actually, I was focused on singing and becoming a singer until I landed on 'Passions.'

There is an event once a year that I'm able to sing at, through 'Passions,' in Tennessee. That's always fun. We perform at the Wild Horse Saloon.

I started in musicals. My first professional experience was Dorothy in 'The Wizard of Oz' in Palm Springs.

When I say, 'We're a team,' the reason why I point that out is because at 'All My Children,' that's the mindset. They're a team. And I've said this to other people: They're like a united front.

It's funny how concert dreams are such a recurring thing among musicians. It's like how everyone has that dream of their teeth falling out? Except musicians have this dream of just standing onstage and there being all these people out there, and for some reason, the song isn't starting.

We are so resilient as a people. I have so much respect for their dignity and courage. I hope the world sees this side of Pakistan, one where professionals want a democracy. The spirit of our intelligentsia cannot be broken.

Women have to summon up courage to fulfill dormant dreams.

The natural world is a source of inspiration.
