I get bored very easily. I do like excitement.

I believe life is fated - what's going to happen will happen.

I don't want to come across as a victim with a sob story. I've got a fantastic life. I'm not a victim. I thank the bullies out there for making me who I am. Some people become weaker, but the bullies made me stronger.

I get a lot of single mum roles - 'It's a Free World' turned out well, so people thought, 'She can be a single mum, Kierston can do that. Or live in a council house - she can do that.'

Originally, I wanted a pop career and formed a girl-band 'Genie Queen' managed by Andy McClusky from 'Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark', but it didn't work out. My brother John is the talented singer and song-writer with 'The Razz,' while my other brother Sean is a footballer for Telford United.

During a long career in TV broadcasting, I spent a lot of time contributing to other people's creations.

Acting is something I love. It's a great craft that I have a lot of respect for. But I don't think it's any greater challenge than teaching 8-year-olds or any other career. In my life, I try not to make it more important than it is and I just hope that rubs off on the people around me.

The career I had at Celtic, the amount of goals and assists and the relationship with the fans and the club, I can't regret that. That's something I'm going to cherish as long as I live.
