It has been an honor and a privilege to have had the chance to come back to Liverpool Football Club as manager.

I am absolutely delighted to get back into football with Livingston.

I was putting myself under enormous pressure to be successful.

I had to know if I could make it somewhere else. I did not want to go through the rest of my life wondering what might have been without putting myself to the test.

Some weeks, I'll go super-hard at practice for two straight days, but then the third day, something happens away from basketball, and I'll lose focus. I'll say, 'I just want to get through practice. I don't want to conquer it today.' But then I'll go home and realize I missed a chance to get better, and it'll bother me.

I come from playing sports. I compete, so I gotta be better than I was last year. I gotta get better, and that better gotta come from just growing. From learning new stuff to working on it, experience it in life, and failing.

I wasn't banned from skiing but didn't go much in college because I couldn't afford it, and there just wasn't the time. I played football all winter, then in summer I did track and field and played volleyball.

Things change, although I believe that certain principles - of attacking, entertaining football - should always be protected.
