The worst thing about age is not quite being able to do what you once did. The best thing is learning to accept what you've got and what you are.

Airports drive me mad. I don't mind the flying; it's all the hassle before you get on the plane and afterwards, including walking five miles through corridors to the point where you queue for ages to check passports and hope your luggage has arrived safely.

A quick trip to Paris would be nice. It's a beautiful city, and I've visited several times. I like the buzz, the sights and restaurants.

I've always slept pretty well and aim to get eight hours a night. I try to be in bed by midnight at the very latest. Occasionally I'll have an afternoon siesta if I'm going out in the evening.

And the Russians certainly don't have it. If a woman shows up in a fur coat, I just assume she's a crook. And that's me, the nice American. The assumption that you can't make money honestly is a killer.

I know the 4Ps (Planning, Priority, Perspective and Patience), and I believe that this knowledge sets me apart from others, as I know exactly how to promote a song, where to promote it. And basically, how much money should be spent in doing all that.

My office has two buildings that function like the right and left sides of the brain. There's a room where everything is being edited for an upcoming project, but you can pull out of that into a tranquil space to work in a different, more solitary medium. It's an architectural unfolding of the process instead of just one chaotic structure.
