We have always been dreamers, and we are admittedly overachievers, and coming out of high school, we didn't want to be struggling artists.

We started out as actors. When we were coming out of high school, we didn't want to be struggling actors, and - I remember the conversation - we were like, 'Let's invest in real estate!'

Growing up, we were in a strict household, so we weren't allowed to have posters of our crushes and stuff on the wall - mine was Cristina Applegate.

Sometimes you're running toward your target so hard that you don't stop to reassess.

My favorite subjects were astronomy, sociology, and gender studies. And I always loved math class; I have a thing for numbers. I played soccer freshman year and then realized I hate sweating, but looking back, I definitely should have kept up with sports.

The bottom line, in the professional level, no matter where you go, there's going to be competition. That's what it is. At the end of the day, you're trying to put team first and make each other better.

Fortunately, the way I play tennis, I don't have to spend too much time analyzing or worrying about my opponents. I typically try to focus on my own game, and I know if I do that and execute, I can beat anyone.

You see now more girls getting involved in their sports because they can see it on TV and see these people playing, and I think - the more and more it's exposed and is out there - it will continue to grow and grow. They watch it on TV and think, 'Well, that could be me!'
