There never was a happier or more devoted husband than the male bluebird. He is the gay champion and escort of the female at all times, and while she is sitting, he feeds her regularly.

One may summon his philosophy when they are beaten in battle, not till then.

Birds and animals probably think without knowing that they think; that is, they have not self-consciousness. It became a very easy label to attach to me. It also feels a bit dismissive. People go, 'You're so lovely and charming', but it's a wee bit, 'That's all you are.'

Every movie that I've had to really knock down the door for has been an enormous success for me. Not just like a financial success but a real personal success.

We learned about gratitude and humility - that so many people had a hand in our success, from the teachers who inspired us to the janitors who kept our school clean... and we were taught to value everyone's contribution and treat everyone with respect.
